Terrestrial: US Southwest and west coast

Wilder Ecological provides field staffing and expertise to conduct agency protocol surveys for sensitive species and habitat scientific research, and habitat assessment work that is needed in professional reporting to government agencies. Our recent projects have been located throughout the Mojave and Great Basin deserts of Nevada and California, as well as in coastal California habitats. In these environments, our staff apply decades of experience in field project management, environmental compliance monitoring, and scientific research:

Marine: Science and Monitoring

Wilder Principal Biologist Nathan Jones has over a decade of experience working on scientific research and restoration projects focused on marine birds and mammal monitoring, animal movement and foraging studies, and population trends and health. He has participated in projects, often in lead roles, that span the nearshore waters from Baja California up to Prince William Sound, and has spent more than 250 research days at sea in the NE Pacific Ocean and Bering Seas, working on research vessels varying in size from 20-200′.
