Wilder was contracted to staff an Authorized Biologist to complete biological surveys for sensitive desert species during a Munitions and Explosives of Concern removal operation on a 3,000 acre multi-purpose firing range.

- Several desert tortoises encountered: morphometrics, ID tag placement, general health assessed
- Short-distance (<500 m) relocations of several tortoises to ensure safety during explosives work within the action area
