Marine: Science and Monitoring
Wilder Principal Biologist Nathan Jones has over a decade of experience working on scientific research and restoration projects focused on marine birds and mammal monitoring, animal movement and foraging studies, and population trends and health. He has participated in projects, often in lead roles, that span the nearshore waters from Baja California up to Prince William Sound, and has spent more than 250 research days at sea in the NE Pacific Ocean and Bering Seas, working on research vessels varying in size from 20-200′.
